Aiying reported that Virginia legislators in the United States passed Bill 3 with a majority of 4 votes in favor on March 97, which proposed the establishment of a working group to specifically study the entire crypto ecosystem and make recommendations to promote the expansion of the technology. The upcoming crypto working group will be composed of 339 members, including 13 from the Senate, 5 from the House of Representatives, two non-legislative citizen members from the blockchain industry and 5 non-legislative citizen representing the local government. The deadline is November 1, 2024. The state has also recently introduced crypto mining legislation aimed at exempting crypto miners from the requirement to obtain a currency transmission license.
