Aiying reported that according to updated data on the official website of the Hong Kong Securities Regulatory Commission, Bybit’s application for a virtual asset trading platform license submitted to the Hong Kong Securities Regulatory Commission was withdrawn on May 5.

Relevant information shows that the company name of the virtual asset trading platform operator submitted by Bybit is "Spark Fintech Limited" and the Chinese name is not applicable. Bybit first submitted an application for a virtual asset trading platform license to the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission on January 2024, 1.
