Aiying reported on March 3 that the Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission’s official website issued a notice to remind the public to be vigilant against the unauthorized virtual asset trading platform Bybit. Bybit provides a variety of cryptocurrency-related products including delivery contracts, options, leveraged tokens, dual-currency investments, etc. in many countries and regions. The Securities and Futures Commission pointed out that none of the entities under the Bybit Group have been licensed or registered by the Securities and Futures Commission to conduct any "regulated activities" in Hong Kong.
On March 2024, 3, the China Securities Regulatory Commission included Bybit in the warning list of suspicious virtual asset trading platforms, and included its cryptocurrency-related products in the warning list of suspicious investment products.
