Hong Kong Securities and Futures Commission: Net fund inflows surged to HK$335 billion last quarter, and six virtual asset trading platforms applied for licenses

HKX and QuanXLab have submitted applications for Hong Kong virtual asset trading platform licenses yesterday, and the number of applicants has increased to 24

Aiying艾盈获悉,香港证券及期货事务监察委员会(证监会)今天发表最新的《季度报告》,截至2023年12月31日止季度的财务摘要显示,在香港注册成立的基金的净资金流入按季急升179%至335亿港元。 截至2023年12月31日,914只在香港注册成立的基金的管理资产价值年增4.9%。

The number of licensed institutions and registered institutions was 48,091. The number of license applications received in the previous period increased by 16% year-on-year. Among the 56 company licenses issued by the SFC during the quarter, applications for Type 9 (providing asset management) and Type 4 (providing advice on securities) regulated management activities accounted for 88% and 66% respectively. During the quarter, six virtual asset trading platforms submitted applications for institutional licenses.
